DEAL ALERT: Simon Wilson of Spencer West assists on MBO of BTTC Infrastructure LTD
Our corporate partner Simon Wilson recently advised the senior management team of BTTC Infrastructure Ltd on a management buy-out for an undisclosed sum. Simon worked alongside Kevin Paget and his team at Menzies LLP. OakNorth Bank, co-ordinated by Steve Wilson, provided funding for the transaction.
BTTC currently cater to the UK and Canadian markets, providing procurement and supply chain services, project management services, and commercial services with a focus on the rail infrastructure sector. BTTC has over 50 full-time consultants across project management and commercial services.
Founded in December 2016, BTTC guides their clients using their unique insight and experience and the principle that projects within the infrastructure industry can be delivered more efficiently by taking an innovative, collaborative and pragmatic approach to management consultancy. This approach very much mirrors the beliefs of Spencer West. Over the last six years, the team has established a track record of successfully delivering local and national infrastructure projects totalling billions of pounds and winning numerous industry awards.
The management buyout will see two of the three founding members exit the firm. The firm’s growth will then be driven by the new management team, who have rich experience and good relationships in the rail infrastructure market.
