Richard represents high net worth individuals and owner-managed businesses on corporate transactions and corporate finance.
Richard qualified in 1983 and ran a boutique corporate law firm from 2009 to 2023. Before that he worked at Clifford Chance, Nabarro (now CMS) and headed Akin’s UK Corporate team.
Richard’s experience includes:
- Acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in many sectors including hospitality and restaurants, IT and telecoms, Medtech, professional firms and synthetic biology.
- Restructuring and refinancing of privately-owned and public groups.
- Advising private and public companies on significant outsourcing contracts.
- Early-stage investments.
- Advising UK, French and international clients on UK aspects of international transactions in many jurisdictions including France, North America and the Middle East.
